Summer time fun

Earlier this summer I met a photographer, David Miller who invited me to come to Sauvie Island for a shoot. We had a lot of fun running from the mosquitoes and talking to the locals. I had to wait to release the photos as they were going in a magazine.

Sirens of Seaside

I wanted to share this video that was made by John Campbell during the photo shoot I recently had at Fort Stevens in Seaside, Oregon. I am working with John to create a short film about R.A.W. Textiles and he has been collecting footage to compile. The musician / composer

Beach Glow

This is the last of the Beach series I will post.   After a glorious day of shooting we packed up our cabin and decided to take one last venture to the beach  in our back yard.  Literally we had to walk a short distance to find the next poetic

Fort Stevens

These photos are a continuation from the beach shoot.  While scouting for places to shoot we found this great bunker in Fort Stevens.  It was a maze of concrete rooms with odd cut outs for windows and trap doors everywhere. Photographer: Tomas Karwoski Jewelry : Emily Jane

Out with the old

My old studio was a quaint place to work in and had a vintage charm that you find in old architecture that was built in the late 1800s. Well, I recently relocated my studio so the building could be torn down to make way for a new one. I have

grand opening

I am pleased to announce the opening of R.A.W. Textiles.  I have been packing, sorting, painting, hanging, and unpacking to get ready for this day.  I love my new space because there is so much light, it has tall ceilings, and I can walk there if I want to.  If

wedding dress

I just received this blog link from Rebekah Johnson photography.  She has put together this great page for one of her clients Aisha Harley’s wedding, who was one of my clients that I made a dress for this special occasion.  Such a great idea!
